{family} Phil, Vicki, Nick, Evan and Lauren

What a sweet crew!  When the kids were getting out of the van one by one, I noticed that there was this very tall kid making his way to the door.  I was expecting someone much smaller.  He's one tall kiddo!  All three of the kids were on their best behavior.  So much, in fact, that when I told them to let loose and have fun with each other, they looked at me and froze.  I noticed they also glanced over at mom and dad for their approval.  I thought that was the cutest thing.  The whole bunch was a ball of fun!!

{family} Chris, Angela, Carter and Declan

This photo shoot was special.  A new client of mine was scheduled, but decided to gift the shoot to the J family because she thought it would be nice to do something for them.  Angela found out that she has breast cancer and is due to start chemo soon.  It melted my heart knowing that there are still good, thoughtful people out there.  It also saddened me to hear the news about Angela.  She is keeping a positive attitude and ready to fight this thing!  I am rooting for her and her family.  May God give them strength during this time.

{senior} Emma Balmer

Is she not the prettiest thing?!  I had the pleasure of photographing Emma's big sis for her senior photos, so I was so happy when mom came back and wanted her baby's done, too!  Emma is beautiful inside and out.  I loved her smile and how it could light up a room.  She will go far in life and I wish her nothing but the very best.  Good luck, sweet girl!

{children} Cate and Ryan

These kids are getting big on me!  It seems like every time I turn around the kids I work with are close to driving cars!  Okay, maybe not that big, but you get it.  Cate is so mature for her age.  I just love her to pieces.  Little Ryan is all boy.  He is all about exploring and doing your typical boy stuff.  They did a wonderful job for me and I am so proud!
