{group} The Gardners

How people can bring so many folks together from different areas of the country (or beyond) for a shoot is quite impressive.  They did a wonderful job planning a shoot with family from Africa, California and Indiana.  It was a little chilly that day, but I can't express how amazing it was.  From time to time I would hear something like, "Okay, it's time for a silly picture".  And that is exactly what I got - tongues out, eyes crossed, goofy faces, you name it.  It was a blast and very entertaining.  They even had some ideas of their own.  I love that.

{family} Steve, Jessica, Kyle, Taylor and Ava

I can't express how much fun I had on this shoot.  Fun family, beautiful kids, gorgeous location, and snow?  You betcha'!  Believe it or not, I don't get the opportunity to photograph professionally in the snow.  I'm assuming it's because when it snows the temperature drops considerably.  Brrrrrr!  The B family was more than willing to brave the cold weather with me to get some great shots of their family and kids.  I'm so glad we did!!

I love that the kids put their cold hands or ice down dad's back for one of the photos.  I absolutely love his facial expression!  Priceless.

{newborn} Natalie: Four Days

How precious is this little angel?  I was so happy Justin and Laura picked me to capture this important milestone.  It was a real pleasure working with all of them and look forward to watching this sweet baby girl grow!  I'm curious to see who she will favor in looks or if she will be a good mixture of them both.  I loved helping out with feeding and rocking her.  It's nice to get my "fix" every now and then!

{babies} Chandler: Three Months

I knew Chandler was going to be holding her head up and pushing up with her arms by this time.  I could tell during our newbie shoot that she was one strong girl.  Mom and I joked that she might be walking by her six month shoot.  Trust me, I wouldn't be surprised at all.  She is one of the prettiest babies.  Everything about her is absolute perfection.  Those eyes?  Oh my goodness.  You could get lost in those suckers.  They are such a beautiful shade of blue.  Harper, her big sis, did an amazing job holding her baby sister.  We tried during the newborn session, but Harper had other plans that day.  I was relieved that we were able to get a few shots this time around.  The wait was obviously very worth it!
