{children} Avery

I can't believe how much Avery has grown! This is my third photo shoot with her, and let me tell you, she is such a doll. I love watching babies grow into sweet, independent toddlers. As her mom put it, I was her best friend on location. I love to play and run around like it's nobody's business. I'll admit, escaping from my own fun-filled life to enter into another is a pretty sweet deal.  I guess you can say that my fun never ends.

I love how the lighting and the color of her clothes changed everything about the photos. Her eyes are a gorgeous blue, but sometimes they were almost a blue/green or gray color, then a light blue. Beautiful.

{group} Hahn

Candy calls me from Missouri and sets up a date for her crew to get together for pictures.  She is the sweetest person and very easy to talk to/work with.  She did a fabulous job of putting it all together as far away as she was.  Her clan was so much fun to be around - crammed with personality.  They made me feel very comfortable. It was a real pleasure to meet such a lovely group of people, and I can only be so lucky to work with them again.

{children} Dylan

Upon arrival I knew that my time with Dylan would be a blast. After all, he is now 18 months, full of energy and smiles, and very easy to entertain. I told Mom and Dad that we would let Dylan be Dylan and to let him explore his surroundings. And he did. There's no such thing as giving an 18-month-old direction on a photo shoot, and our brilliant plan worked. He even made a furry friend along the way.

{family} Laci, Coy and Adia

I will say this, there was nothing coy about little Coy. He was full of spunk and ready to take on the world, as any three-year-old would be. And, Adia was as sweet as pie. I found myself getting off track by listening to her heart-melting coos. They were a lovely family and I really enjoyed spending time with all of them at the park.

{family} The Mattingly Family

I made my way over to Heather's In-Laws' house in the Highlands - complete with flowers, trees, and of course, an old house full of character.  It was absolutely beautiful there - every photog's dream location.  I asked if I could move in (you know, because it was the classy and professional way to go), but they just laughed at me and we casually moved on.  Little Sylvan couldn't have been any cuter.  At the ripe age of six months he was quite a hoot.  I loved his infant-style communication skills.  The raspberries kept him occupied and us very well entertained.  The adorable, infantile babble never hurt either.  And, those chunky thighs and gobble-me-up cheeks?  ::swoon::  This photog was in love.

Thank you, Chris and Heather, for the fond moments I got to share with you and your extended families.
